Welcome to GirlsConnect.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the GirlsConnect mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service Provider

2. Purpose of the Service

GirlsConnect is a community platform allowing users to:

  • create a profile;
  • publish content;
  • join groups;
  • send private messages;
  • organize or participate in activities;
  • meet other members with similar interests.

GirlsConnect is primarily intended to provide a safe community space for women.

3. Eligibility

The Service is strictly reserved for individuals who are at least 18 years old.

By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:

  • you are at least 18 years old;
  • you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement;
  • the information you provide is accurate and up to date.

GirlsConnect may suspend or terminate accounts that do not comply with these requirements.

4. Account Registration

You are responsible for:

  • maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials;
  • all activities conducted through your account;
  • the information published on your profile.

You agree not to:

  • impersonate another person;
  • create fraudulent accounts;
  • use misleading photos or false information;
  • bypass a suspension or ban.

5. User Content

Users may publish:

  • messages;
  • photos;
  • comments;
  • events;
  • textual or multimedia content.

You retain ownership of the content you publish.

By posting content on GirlsConnect, you grant GirlsConnect a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, technically adapt, and distribute such content for the purpose of operating the Service.

You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to publish such content.

6. Prohibited Content

You may not publish or transmit:

  • illegal content;
  • harassment or threats;
  • hate speech;
  • discriminatory content;
  • pornographic or explicit sexual content;
  • violent content;
  • child sexual abuse material;
  • spam or scams;
  • fake profiles;
  • copyright-infringing content;
  • malware or harmful links.

GirlsConnect may remove any content or account without prior notice.

7. Moderation and Section 230

GirlsConnect acts as a hosting provider for user-generated content.

Users are solely responsible for the content they publish and their interactions with others.

GirlsConnect does not guarantee:

  • the accuracy of user content;
  • the identity of users;
  • the behavior of members;
  • the legality of third-party content.

Under Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act, GirlsConnect shall not be held liable for content posted by users or for interactions between users.

GirlsConnect reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without notice, to:

  • moderate;
  • remove;
  • restrict;
  • suspend;
  • terminate any content or account.

8. Real-Life Meetings and Events

GirlsConnect allows users to organize and participate in real-life activities and meetups.

GirlsConnect does not organize these events directly and does not perform background checks on users.

Each user is solely responsible for:

  • their interactions;
  • their travel arrangements;
  • their meetings with other users;
  • their personal safety.

You participate in meetups and activities at your own risk.

GirlsConnect shall not be liable for:

  • user behavior;
  • assaults;
  • accidents;
  • property damage;
  • injuries;
  • incidents occurring during meetings between users.

9. Reporting

Users may report inappropriate content or behavior using the reporting tools available within the application or by email at:

GirlsConnect reserves the right to take any action deemed necessary.

10. DMCA and Copyright Policy

GirlsConnect respects intellectual property rights.

If you believe content infringes your copyright, you may submit a notice including:

  • your identity;
  • a description of the copyrighted work;
  • proof of ownership;
  • the URL or location of the infringing content;
  • a statement made in good faith.

11. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed through:

Payments, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are governed by the terms of the respective platforms.

GirlsConnect does not have access to users’ banking information.

12. Termination

You may delete your account at any time.

GirlsConnect may suspend or terminate accounts:

  • for violations of these Terms;
  • for security reasons;
  • for suspicious activity;
  • to protect the community.

13. Service Availability

The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”.

GirlsConnect does not guarantee:

  • continuous availability;
  • error-free operation;
  • uninterrupted access;
  • complete security.

GirlsConnect may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GirlsConnect, its owners, partners, and service providers shall not be liable for:

  • indirect damages;
  • loss of data;
  • financial losses;
  • loss of profits;
  • user behavior;
  • third-party content;
  • incidents related to real-life meetings.

GirlsConnect’s total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the user during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some exclusions may not apply to you.

15. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless GirlsConnect from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from:

  • your use of the Service;
  • your content;
  • your violation of these Terms;
  • your violation of any third-party rights.

16. Arbitration and Class Action Waiver

For users residing in the United States:

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding individual arbitration, except where prohibited by law.

You waive any right to:

  • participate in a class action lawsuit;
  • participate in a collective proceeding;
  • act as a representative plaintiff.

All disputes must be handled individually.

17. Privacy

The collection and processing of personal data are governed by the Privacy Policy available at:

Users residing in certain jurisdictions, including California, may have additional privacy rights under applicable laws.

GirlsConnect does not sell users’ personal data.

18. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of France, except where mandatory local laws provide otherwise.

19. Changes to the Terms

GirlsConnect may modify these Terms at any time.

The latest version will always be available on the website or within the application.

Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
