Groups are a place for :

  • Ask questions or seek help on a specific topic
  • Share tips
  • Feel free to discuss

What is encouraged

  • Start discussions / debates
  • Helping others
  • Share experiences
  • Ask sincere questions

What is not allowed

❌​ Stress & pressure

  • “Add me,” “chat with me privately,” or similar requests. If a member wants to add you privately, she’ll do so naturally.
  • Repeated requests
  • Trying to force a relationship
  • Ask who’s available to go out or suggest an activity in the discussion groups. Not everyone will necessarily be interested, so we’ve created an “Activities” section specifically for this purpose. Post your activity, and interested members will join you.

💡​ We’re all here to make friends or meet new people—that’s what GirlsConnect is all about.
👉 Furthermore, posts like “I’m here to make friends” don’t contribute anything to the community.

❌​ Social Media & Workarounds

  • Share your social media accounts publicly in discussion groups (Instagram, Snapchat, etc.)
  • Ask other members for their contact information publicly (Instagram, Snapchat, etc.)
  • Publicly encourage members to connect with each other on other social media platforms.

❌​ Spam & self-promotion

  • Advertising, promotions, services
  • Recruitment or canvassing
  • Repeated messages or copy-and-paste posts in multiple groups. This is considered spam.

❌​ Disrespectful behavior

  • Free criticism, mockery
  • Judgments, hurtful remarks
  • Aggression or conflict

❌​ Inappropriate content

  • Inappropriate or offensive content
  • Off-topic in relation to the group’s theme
  • Misleading information

❌​ Fake profiles & abuse

  • Identity theft
  • Deliberate lies
  • Manipulative or toxic behavior

Moderation & Security

GirlsConnect uses smart moderation (AI + human).

👉 The content may include:

  • Automatically hidden if deemed disruptive to the community
  • Deleted
  • Limited visibility

⚠️​ Non-compliant behavior may result in:

  • A warning
  • A temporary restriction
  • Account suspension
  • Permanent deletion

Role of moderators

The moderators are here to:

  • Maintain a positive atmosphere
  • re-engage discussions
  • Take action if a problem arises
  • Enforce the rules
