  • Profile and settings

    How do I edit my GirlsConnect profile ?

    To access your profile, tap the tab at the bottom right of the app. You can then edit your personal information. We recommend completing your profile as much as possible to increase your chances of making meaningful connections.

    How do I change my profile photo ?

    Go to your profile and update your photo directly from that page.

    Can I delete certain information from my profile ?

    Yes, your display name and date of birth are required to calculate your age. Other information in your profile is optional and can be deleted at any time.

    What security measures are in place at GirlsConnect ?

    At GirlsConnect, we take security seriously. We use advanced security measures to protect your personal information and ensure a safe environment. This includes data encryption, robust security protocols and regular testing to detect and prevent vulnerabilities.

    How do you protect my personal data ?

    Protecting your personal data is a priority for us. We implement technical, organizational and administrative security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, misuse or disclosure. We also comply with European data protection regulations (GRPD).

    Are my conversations on GirlsConnect private ?

    Yes, your conversations on GirlsConnect are private. We implement confidentiality measures to protect your messages and your exchanges with other users. However, we also encourage you to exercise caution and share only the information you feel is appropriate with other members.

    How can I report inappropriate behavior ?

    If you encounter any inappropriate behavior on GirlsConnect, we encourage you to report it immediately. You can use the in-app reporting feature to inform us of any behavior that violates our Terms of Use or makes you feel uncomfortable. We will carefully review each report and take appropriate action.

    Does GirlsConnect share my data with third parties?

    We do not share your personal data with any third parties. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your information.

    How does the GirlsConnect Friend Finder work?

    On GirlsConnect, you can browse profiles in the Members tab and like the ones that interest you. If the interest is mutual, you create a connection (match) and can start chatting. You can also send a friend request (superlike) to show direct interest.
    Filters such as distance, age, and interests are available to refine your search.

    How do I send messages to other users?

    To send a message, you must first have a connection (match) or have your friend request (superlike) accepted. Once connected, you can chat freely through the messaging feature 

    Can I block or report a user?

    Yes, GirlsConnect lets you block or report a user if you encounter inappropriate behavior or feel unsafe. Go to the user’s profile and look for the block or report options.

  • Events / activities

    What are GirlsConnect activities ?

    Activities on GirlsConnect are events or outings created by users, for other users. They can include friendly meetups, interest-based groups, parties, sports activities, and more. Activities are the best way to meet new friends and connect in real life.

    How do I create or join an activity ?

    To create an activity, go to the Activities tab and tap “Create an activity” at the bottom of the screen. You can then add the key details: date, time, location, optional cost, and description. To join an activity, simply select one that interests you and tap “Join”.

    How can I cancel my participation in an activity ?

    If you want to cancel your participation, go to the “My activities” section. Open the activity and tap “Cancel participation”.

    Good to know

    After each activity, a rating is requested to help maintain a reliable, respectful community and high-quality experiences. If you can no longer attend, please remember to cancel your participation to avoid impacting your rating.

  • Subscription Plus

    What are the limitations of using the application without a subscription?

    When you use GirlsConnect without a subscription, you are subject to the following limitations :

    • You can only plan one activity at a time and must wait for it to end before creating another one
    • Activities you organize are limited to a maximum of 5 participants
    • You have 10 likes per day and 1 superlike per week
    • You cannot see who has liked your profile

    What features are included in the Plus subscription?

    The Plus subscription gives you access to additional features to enhance your experience on GirlsConnect :

    • Plan up to 5 activities at the same time
    • Organize activities with more than 5 participants
    • Use the app without ads
    • Enjoy unlimited likes
    • Get 10 superlikes per week
    • See who liked your profile
    • Hide your profile from swipes
    • Go back to profiles you swiped too quickly
    • See when your messages are read 

    How do I upgrade to a Plus membership?

    To upgrade to a Plus subscription, go to the “Subscription” section in the app and follow the steps to choose the plan that suits you. You will be guided through the payment process, and once your subscription is activated, you will be able to enjoy all Plus features.

  • Technical Issues

    I’m having connection problems. What should I do?

    If you’re having connection problems, here are a few steps you can take:

    1. Check your Internet connection to make sure it’s stable.
    2. Make sure you’ve entered your login details correctly.
    3. Try restarting your device and trying to connect again.
    4. Update the GirlsConnect application to the latest version.
    5. If the problem persists, please contact Us.

    Why can’t I see profiles or activities in my area?

    There may be several reasons why you can’t see profiles or activities in your area:

    • Check that your location is correctly indicated on your profile page.
    • There may not yet be enough users registered in your area. Be patient, new users are signing up regularly.
    • You can also expand your search perimeter to include a larger geographical area. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

    What should I do if I have problems with the application’s functions?

    If you’re having trouble with the app’s features, here are a few steps you can take:

    • Make sure you’re using the latest version of the GirlsConnect application.
    • Restart the application and check if the problem persists.
    • Check your account settings to make sure all features are enabled as you’d like them to be.
    • If the problem persists, contact our team and describe the problem in detail. We’ll do our best to help you solve the problem.
