    How do I edit my GirlsConnect profile ?

    To access my profile page, first open the user menu by clicking on the button at the top right of the application. You’ll then be able to edit your personal data.

    How do I change my profile photo ?

    Start by accessing your user profile. Here you can change your profile photo.

    Can I delete certain information from my profile ?

    Yes, your display name and date of birth are required to calculate your age. Other information in your profile is optional and can be deleted at any time.

    What security measures are in place at GirlsConnect ?

    At GirlsConnect, we take security seriously. We use advanced security measures to protect your personal information and ensure a safe environment. This includes data encryption, robust security protocols and regular testing to detect and prevent vulnerabilities.

    How do you protect my personal data ?

    Protecting your personal data is a priority for us. We implement technical, organizational and administrative security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, misuse or disclosure. We also comply with European data protection regulations (GRPD).

    Are my conversations on GirlsConnect private ?

    Yes, your conversations on GirlsConnect are private. We implement confidentiality measures to protect your messages and your exchanges with other users. However, we also encourage you to exercise caution and share only the information you feel is appropriate with other members.

    How can I report inappropriate behavior ?

    If you encounter any inappropriate behavior on GirlsConnect, we encourage you to report it immediately. You can use the in-app reporting feature to inform us of any behavior that violates our Terms of Use or makes you feel uncomfortable. We will carefully review each report and take appropriate action.

    Does GirlsConnect share my data with third parties?

    We do not share your personal data with any third parties. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your information.

    How does the GirlsConnect Friend Finder work?

    The GirlsConnect friend search allows you to find other users matching your criteria. You can use filters such as age and interests to refine your search results.

    How do I send messages to other users?

    To send messages to other GirlsConnect users, go to their profile and click on the envelope button in the top right-hand corner of the application. This will enable you to exchange private messages.

    Can I block or report a user?

    Yes, GirlsConnect lets you block or report a user if you encounter inappropriate behavior or feel unsafe. Go to the user’s profile and look for the block or report options.

  • Events / activities

    What are GirlsConnect activities ?

    GirlsConnect activities are events or outings offered to GirlsConnect users by other GirlsConnect users. They can be friendly get-togethers, common interest groups, parties, sports activities, etc. Activities are a great way to meet new friends and take part in interesting events.

    How do I create or join an activity ?

    To create an activity on GirlsConnect, access the “Outings” section of the app and use the contextual menu at the top right of the app. You’ll be able to define the details of the activity, such as date, time, location and description. To join an existing activity, simply select the activity you’re interested in and click on the “Join” button.

    How can I cancel my participation in an activity ?

    If you wish to cancel your participation in an activity on GirlsConnect, go to the “My outings” section of the application. Open the activity in question and click on the “Cancel” button.

  • Subscription Plus

    What are the limitations of using the application without a subscription?

    When you use GirlsConnect without a subscription, you are subject to the following limitations:

    • You can only plan one outing/activity, and must wait until it has passed before you can propose another.
    • The outings you organize are limited to a maximum of 5 participants.

    What features are included in the Plus subscription?

    Our Plus subscription offers additional features to enhance your GirlsConnect experience.

    • Plan up to 5 outings without waiting.
    • Organize outings with more than 5 participants.
    • Use the application ad-free
    • Priority notifications: Be informed when a place becomes available on an outing you’ve bookmarked and for which you haven’t yet registered.

    How do I upgrade to a Plus membership?

    To upgrade to a premium subscription on GirlsConnect, go to the “Subscription” section of the app and follow the instructions to select the subscription that’s right for you. You’ll be guided through the payment process, and once your subscription is activated, you’ll be able to enjoy Plus features.

  • Technical Issues

    I’m having connection problems. What should I do?

    If you’re having connection problems, here are a few steps you can take:

    1. Check your Internet connection to make sure it’s stable.
    2. Make sure you’ve entered your login details correctly.
    3. Try restarting your device and trying to connect again.
    4. Update the GirlsConnect application to the latest version.
    5. If the problem persists, please contact Us.

    Why can’t I see profiles or activities in my area?

    There may be several reasons why you can’t see profiles or activities in your area:

    • Check that your location is correctly indicated on your profile page.
    • There may not yet be enough users registered in your area. Be patient, new users are signing up regularly.
    • You can also expand your search perimeter to include a larger geographical area. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

    What should I do if I have problems with the application’s functions?

    If you’re having trouble with the app’s features, here are a few steps you can take:

    • Make sure you’re using the latest version of the GirlsConnect application.
    • Restart the application and check if the problem persists.
    • Check your account settings to make sure all features are enabled as you’d like them to be.
